The Bremont MBIII Replica Watch marks the first watch in the Bremont collection to feature a GMT movement in a non-chronograph watch and this new collection showcases a brand new barrel colour – Bronze. The colour was picked to join the iconic orange barrel and anthracite options because it represents the anti-reflective coating used on cockpit canopies. That aside the new Bremont MBIII watch keeps many of the aesthetics of its predecessors. The knurled effect on the barrel matches components that feature on the Martin Baker ejection chairs and the second hand retains its ‘pull cord’ loop.
Today at Baselworld watch and jewellery fair British watch brand, Bremont Replica Watch, have released details of the newest addition to the ever popular Martin-Baker range. The MBIII marks a new generation for one of their best-selling ranges by introducing a GMT movement to the collection.
The MBI and Bremont Replica were born out of collaboration with the British aviation company, Martin-Baker back in 2007/8. The task – produce a watch that could withstand the rigorous testing programmes that the seats themselves go through; the outcome – two watches, the MBI and MBII.
