Ulysse Nardin – Classic Dual Time Enamel Clearance Fake Watches
Part of Ulysse Nardin’s Classic collection, this Dual Time with a white enamel dial is the ideal traveling companion. Equipped with the patented Dual Time zone feature, it is instantly adjustable both forwards and backwards with a mere push of a button.
These buttons feature at the 8 and 10 o’clock positions. When pressed, the pushers adjust the hour hand to a different time zone while the home time indicator at 9 o’clock continues its 24-hour cycle. The time and date setting is another example of the watchmaker’s perpetual quest for innovation in action. The selector is integrated in the crown allowing to change settings without pulling and pushing the crown.
With all these brands tapping into their archives for vintage reissues these days, the expression legacy gets tossed around a long time. Unlike many, Ulysse Nardin isn’t bluffing. Founded in 1846, their marine chronometers have seen significant use in the hands of many world navies, also in 2001, they introduced the first watch to utilize a silicon escapement. Inspired by a 1964 model, Ulysse Nardin made the Diver Le Locle watch to pay tribute to this maritime heritage while incorporating the most recent technology. At 42mm wide, the Ulysse Nardin Diver Le Locle is reasonably sized, which matches nicely with its classic aesthetic. Even though it’s hard to tell from media images alone, the lugs, while notable, seem to be in proportion with the rest of the layout also. They are beveled and display a great deal of polishing that continues throughout the rest of the 100m-water-resistant case. Actually, the whole situation is shiny – an interesting selection for a tool diver but folks will find it attractive nevertheless. The dial, with the exception of those moments sub-dial, feels just like a blast from the past. It seems to have a deep, matte feel to it that contrasts heavily with the large Super-LumiNova indexes. Like many of these throwback divers, they have a faux patina look to them that actually seems to rub people the wrong way more often than not – so have at it in the comments. Other touches include a very simple date readout at 3 o’clock, circular cyclops, sapphire crystal with AR coating, and also a cool handset using a segmented pattern for the minutes hand. My favorite aspect of this combination is how it all matches the glistening aluminum bezel and its thick coin-edge pattern.
These functions – hours, minutes, small seconds at 6 o’clock, patented quickset 2nd time display with permanent home time at 9 o’clock, big date display at 2 o’clock – are powered by the self-winding UN-324 manufacture movement, with 48-hour power reserve and silicium oscillator and hairspring. It is set within a stainless steel case with a diameter of 42 mm, water resistant to 30 m, and held by an alligator strap with folding buckle.
On the white “Grand Feu” enamel dial, oversized roman numerals and blued hands set off the double date display at 2 o’clock, and the oversized small seconds at 6 o’clock.
